Professional Experience:
Vicky graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2013 with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy.
Vicky strives to see each of her patients achieve their goals by following a patient centered approach to all her treatments.
Over the last decade, Vicky has gained a vast level of experience working in her NHS role in the UK and completed two full winter seasons on a ski field as an acute injury specialist in Queenstown.
Over the years Vicky has developed a specialist interest Musculo-skeletal practice, specialising in clinical Pilates, Post/ante-natal Pilates and strength and conditioning.
As a result of her vast experience Vicky has gained a wide level of experience in treating and managing acute and chronic conditions. Vicky believes that treatment should be individualised and having worked with a broad range of patients this allows her treatment plans to be patient specific.
Vicky is active with keeping up to date with the latest research to provide the best evidence based practice to all her patients. This is to ensure that all her patients have a positive experience with long lasting treatment benefits with an increased understanding of how to manage and prevent further injury.
Personal Interests;
Besides being highly motivated in her field of work, Vicky is a very keen sportsperson and has competed in both swimming and field hockey at county level in the UK. If you don’t see her swimming in a lake you may find her on a long cycle ride or at a CrossFit Gym.
