Professional Experience:
I graduated from the Otago Polytechnic with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2019 and currently carrying out my postgraduate studies to become a Registered Hand Therapist.
I have worked in the public sector in Wellington including Orthopedics, General Medicine, Inpatient and Community Rehabilitation, all of which have included some element of hand therapy.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking and baking, walks and snowboarding in winter.

Professional Experience:
I have worked as a Physiotherapist in a wide variety of settings within the NHS in the UK. After 3 years of rotational experience in acute and out-patient settings, I then specialised in MSK Physiotherapy for 2 years. I moved to New Zealand at the beginning of 2024 and have loved gaining more experience within the hand therapy setting.

Heather graduated from the University of the West of England in 2012. Since the she has developed experience working across a wide range of areas including; Stroke Rehabilitation, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Hand therapy and Musculoskeletal rehabilitation within the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Heather first came to New Zealand four years ago, where she provided emergency care on ski fields, however she soon realised her true passion was in private practice. Her main areas of interest are post-surgical rehabilitation and upper limb injuries.
